Teachers applying for this drive have the possibility of having the best schedules as we plan by logistical area or CEFR level depending on if teaching is done face to face or online.

Our secondary drive starts after the 1st September and is designed for teachers who wish to work with us after the start of the academic year. However, availabilities will be based on our demand at the moment of applying. This can fluctuate and teachers starting with few hours can see their schedules fill up as the year goes by.

TLC TEACHER SCHEDULE

What does an average TLC teacher schedule look like?

(click on the image to view)

TLC Home and ONLINE entry level Teachers can teach anywhere from 5 to 15 hours a week depending on their teaching experience, their availabilities, as well as their ability to handle the preparation. An average schedule for a TLC teacher would be to teach around 12 hours a week during the academic year. In France students are always off two weeks for the Toussaint break (end of October first week in November), two weeks at Christmas, two weeks end of February for winter break and two weeks around Easter. Here is the academic calendar for 2021-2022.

TLC Home teachers’ schedules are arranged around the travel distances between the classes. This means that teachers may be teaching a variety of CEFR levels but have less than 15 minutes to travel on average between each class.

TLC Home Online teachers’ schedules are arranged around CEFR levels and most teachers are teaching 1 or 2 levels so they can understand and master how one level feeds into the other.

TLC SCHOOL teachers are expected to work every day from 13:00 to 19:00 outside of school holidays (presently not hiring)
